Sending an SMS From an Automated Journey

Once an Automated SMS is published, it can be added to a Journey. When a record reaches that action in a Journey, the selected SMS will be sent to that record.

Note: Only Automated SMS are available within a Journey. Standard SMS, which can be sent immediately or scheduled to send, will not be available.

1. Navigate to a Journey.

a. If there are no Actions or Rules in the Journey, click on the Actions and Rules button to view the list of Journey Step options.

b. If the Journey already has Actions or Rules, place your cursor in the location you want to add your Send Email Action. Click on the [+] Plus button that appears.

3. Select the Send SMS Action to navigate to the Send SMS form

4. Select an Automated SMS from the list

5. Click the Save Action button. The Send SMS action will now appear on the Journey Canvas.
